Lakewood Suzuki Strings

A string ensemble performs an arrangement of famous melodies from Bizet’s opera Carmen, while the narrator reads The Story of Ferdinand by Munroe Leaf. The performance is followed by an instrument “petting zoo,” where children are guided by professional musicians on how to touch, feel and hold a stringed instrument.
