Part-Time Clerk and Paraprofessional
Lakewood Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and courteous team member to provide excellent customer service to our community. Responsibilities include assisting patrons at the service desk, assisting patrons on public computers, and handling library materials. Experience working with children of all ages is strongly preferred.
This part-time position averages 60-80 hours per month, with a schedule that includes daytime, evening, and weekend hours. The starting wage is $14.00 per hour.

Part-Time Paraprofessional – Children’s and Youth Services
Lakewood Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and courteous team member to provide excellent customer service to our community. Responsibilities include assisting patrons at the Children’s and Youth Services desk, handling library materials, and planning and presenting engaging programs for children and teens.
This part-time position averages 60–80 hours per month, with a schedule that includes daytime, evening, and weekend hours. A bachelor’s degree and valid Ohio driver’s license are required. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and enthusiasm for working with children and families. The starting wage is $15.00 per hour.
