Kirigami is the art of folding and cutting paper and layering papers to create a 3-D effect. This art form was brought to Japan in the 7th century and became popular across Asia by the 17th century. Washi paper was often used as this paper type is handmade in Japan, is durable, and is flexible which is perfect for this art style. Come make a fun pop-up card.
