In Albanian culture, costume masks are traditionally used during festive events and celebrations, particularly in the annual Carnival held in Shkodra, where they symbolize freedom of expression and cultural heritage. Students will create their own masks using different textures and vibrant colors, to showcase their own artistic expression.
