Meet The Author—Margaret Bernstein
Margaret Bernstein was born and raised in Los Angeles and currently resides in Richmond Heights, Ohio. She is a wife, mother and advocate. After a long career as a newspaper writer, she accepted a job as the Director of Advocacy & Community Initiatives at WKYC Channel 3 in Cleveland, Ohio. Just one year after she entered the TV business, she won an Emmy for Community Service for her #WeReadHere literacy campaign.
Margaret dreams of making every child’s home a reading-friendly environment, and has authored a series of inspiring storybooks designed for fathers to read with their children. Her books —All In a Dad’s Day, Donuts With Dad, and her latest, The Fathers Walk – all showcase a fun day spent by a father and child. Her books, which focus on reducing fatherlessness and strengthening families, are tools that readers are using to improve our world.
