    The Life of Hnat Khotkevych and the Bandura

    Kyrylo Mahlay, an assistant teacher at the Cleveland School of Bandura, will present a lecture on the life of Hnat Khotkevych (1877-1938) and his influence on the Ukrainian instrument, the bandura. After the talk, Kyrylo will demonstrate the harp-like instrument with its distinctive bright sound for the audience. This event is sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council.
