Protest Songs: A History

On the fifty-fifth anniversary of the Kent State shootings, we will explore the modern history of protest songs with the help of QS Jazz. The soulful and dynamic quintet will perform and discuss twelve famous songs that became battle cries as our nation struggled with war, racism and groundbreaking social movements.
