Traditional Japanese dance, which has evolved over the centuries, embodies a rich heritage reflecting Japanese aesthetics, storytelling and social customs, and it is valued for its artistic, cultural and historic significance.
The Sho-Jo-Ji Dancers, organized in 1955 under the sponsorship of the Japanese American Citizens League – Cleveland, has served as cultural and goodwill ambassadors of the Cleveland-area Japanese American community for years.
Enjoy a performance of delicate, graceful Japanese dance accompanied by traditional Japanese music. This concert is intended for patrons and guests of all ages.
