America 250: The British Are Here!

A Redcoat is here once again in Northeast Ohio!  Outfitted with exact reproductions of the clothing, arms and equipment of an original Redcoat, Private David Zeih recreates the stirring days of the Revolutionary War as a British soldier serving King George III. With a piece-by-piece explanation of his uniform and a musket demonstration, he describes life as it was in the Crown’s army. Zeih is a retired history teacher and longtime member of the 64th Foot, a living copy of the British regiment that was engaged in almost every major battle on the east coast during America’s fight for independence.
