All too often, real solutions to the existential planetary crisis of climate change seem so far removed and at best—hopeless. Overwhelmingly, the slate of proposed climate “solutions” bandied about are jargon-laden, unrealistically utopian and far removed from the encroaching anxieties of the world’s citizens. In our present-day dystopia, two facts remain; global mean temperatures continue to rise, and the world has not come to an effective consensus on how to resolve this growing ecological and human catastrophe.

The brilliant eco-anthology, All We Can Save: Truth, Courage and Solutions for the Climate Crisis, a collection of essays and poems by women at the forefront of the climate justice movement, recontextualizes the climate crisis by grounding it in our lives, places and spirits. For the sake of our current and future generations, and especially Mother Earth, please join us as we embark on an inclusive march forward in addressing the most pressing issue of the twenty-first century.

Lakewood Public Library will be giving out free copies of All We Can Save: Truth, Courage and Solutions for the Climate Crisis while supplies last.
