Double Indemnity (1944)

A cynical insurance agent (Fred MacMurray) wants to sell a policy to a seductive femme fatale (Barbara Stanwyck). She buys a double indemnity policy on her husband and tries to entice MacMurray to make an “accident” happen sooner rather than later. While they weave a web of deceit, a wily claims agent (Edward G. Robinson) becomes suspicious.
