Virtual Girls Who Code Club

For Students in Sixth through Twelfth Grade

Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Using Zoom, you will learn the Core4 computer science concepts that form the basis for all computer programming languages from facilitators with experience in the field of computer science. Build confidence, develop leadership skills and succeed as a team. An email with a Zoom link will be sent to all registrants the day before the session. Registration is required. Register separately for each event.

Make an Interactive Snowman in JavaScript

Use the JavaScript programming language to draw a snowman on a webpage and have it respond to actions taken by the user. Learn about drawing on the canvas and using mouse events to control changes in JavaScript. This session builds on the previous session and is designed for intermediate to advanced coding abilities (beginning coders who completed the build a snowman in JavaScript are also encouraged to attend).
