Space is the Place: Investigating the Insides

For students in first through third grade. Planets can surprise astronomers in so many ways: their shape, movement, and even what they’re made of. Some planets might be hollow inside, while others might have a heavy magnetic metal core. These insides can affect whatever is going on outside! In this investigative program, you will use your five senses and some special tools to examine planets and try to guess what makes them so different from each other.
