Celebrate National Exotic Fruits Month with Octavio Noda

December 1 – December 31
Exotic Fruits Month
National Exotic Fruits Month is celebrated annually during the month of December to recognize the rich history and cultural importance of fruits from throughout the world, including tropical fruits. Celebrate Exotic Fruits Month by exploring tropical fruits with Octavio Noda. From avocado to cocoa, from ice-cream bean to zarzamoras, there is much to discover — and enjoy — about tropical fruits.
Octavio Noda is a photographer, film importer and distributor, and retired librarian. Octavio has been a good friend of the Lakewood Public Library, and a friend of many academic, public and school libraries throughout the country. Octavio has spent much of his career making international resources, including films, available to libraries and their patrons.
As our friend Octavio would say, Buen provecho!
