Film – Partition (2007)

In 1947, the Partition of India displaced millions as the fight for religious freedom led to violence and crisis. Determined to leave the ravages of war behind, Gian Singh (Jimi Mistry) resigns from the British Indian Army in pursuit of a quieter life. When he unexpectedly comes across Naseem (Kristin Kreuk), a young Muslim refugee in hiding, he must decide whether to let cultural taboos or human kindness dictate his decisions. The two bond over their mutual suffering despite their religious and cultural differences. Together they face hatred and familial conflict that will test the strength of their relationship and their love.
